Shortlist for Outstanding Private Apartment: Lookbox Design Awards 2017
A young family wanted a modern vernacular inspired space, with ample sunlight, natural ventilation and visual continuity in this 2-bedroom apartment. We decided to use design elements from traditional shophouses such as louvered french windows, timber screens and door transoms.
Teak furniture was sourced and custom design/produced in Indonesia.
